My Studio

Upload works to My Studio, organize them into folders, add notes and choose who can see each piece.

What My Studio Is For

My Studio is your private inventory. Upload your work, organize it into folders and manage the details behind each piece. Open it from Apps, or select Create and then Upload Artwork.

Uploading Works

Select Upload in the My Studio toolbar, then choose how to add work:

  • Upload Files: pick images or videos from your device. New works land in the folder you have open.
  • Import From URL: paste a direct link to an image and select Import.
  • Import Catalog (CSV): bring in titles, sizes and other details for many works at once.

Images can be PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or AVIF, up to 50 MB each. Videos must be MP4 or WebM and no larger than 15 MB. Other video formats, such as MOV, are refused because browsers can't play them. GIFs are also limited to 15 MB.

Organizing Your Works

  • Open Folders to see your folder tree. New Folder adds a top-level folder and New Subfolder adds one inside the folder you're in. Each folder can be renamed, colored or deleted.
  • Drag a work onto a folder to move it there. When you have several works selected, Move Selected Here next to a folder moves them all.
  • Switch between views such as All Works, For Sale, Sold and Trash, and use Filter and View to narrow down, sort and change the layout.
  • Move To Trash sends a work to Trash. From there, Restore brings it back and Delete Forever removes it permanently.

The other views are Saved for works you saved to find quickly, NFTs for works by where they are in minting, Orders for sales that need to leave your studio, and File Requests. Duplicate Finder shows works that look like copies of each other; see Duplicate Finder.

Who Can See A Work

Each work is Private, Link Only or On Art Board. Link Only means anyone with the link can see it, but it stays off Art Board. Choosing Link Only or On Art Board publishes the work's image, and Private takes it down. Only works with a published image can be pinned to your Atelier.

Notes On A Work

Open a work and go to its Notes tab to keep track of anything you want to remember, then select Add Note. The line above your notes tells you who can read them: only you, or, if your notes are stored as comments, anyone viewing the work on Art Board.

Working With Several Works

Select works to open the selection bar. Select All picks every work in view. Then:

  • Edit Details… changes medium, year, tags, status and more on every selected work.
  • Move To… moves them to another folder, and Visibility makes them public or private.
  • Publish To Art Board makes them public and shows them on Art Board.
  • Plan Posts schedules one social post per work, spaced out over the coming days. Private works are left out; make them Link Only to include them.
  • Create Private Link works when one work is selected.
  • More has Print Labels (a wall label with the title, details, price and a QR code), Price List (one printable page with the works and their prices) and Download.

Asking Someone To Send You Files

  • Select Upload, then New File Request.
  • Give it a Title, and if you like a Description and an Expires date, then create it.
  • Open File Requests and select Copy Link to send the upload link to your client or collaborator.
  • Each request shows whether it is Active, Closed or Expired, and how many files have been submitted. Close stops new uploads.

Common Questions

Why was my video rejected?

Videos must be MP4 or WebM and no larger than 15 MB. Export at 1080p and 1,500–2,500 kbps; a 30-second reel comes to around 7 MB.

What is the largest file I can upload?

50 MB per file. Videos and GIFs have a lower limit of 15 MB.

Can I get a deleted work back?

Yes, while it is in Trash: open it and select Restore. Delete Forever cannot be undone. Minted and sold works can't be deleted forever, because they keep their history.

Are my notes private?

Check the line above your notes on the Notes tab. If it says only you can see them, they are private. Otherwise they are stored as comments, which visitors can read when the work is on Art Board.

How do I find duplicate works?

Open the Duplicate Finder view in My Studio. See Duplicate Finder for how it works.

Can I change details on many works at once?

Yes. Select the works and choose Edit Details… to change medium, year, tags, status and more on all of them.

How do I get files from a client?

Create a New File Request from the Upload menu and send them the link from File Requests. The link stops working when you close the request or it passes its expiry date.

Can I print wall labels for my works?

Yes. Select the works, open More and choose Print Labels. Each label has the title, details, price and a QR code. Price List prints one page listing the works and their prices.

How do I change the grid size or how images fit?

Select Layout at the end of the My Studio toolbar. Grid Size sets 1 to 6 columns. Under Image Fit, Fit Width makes every image fill its column, and Fit Height gives the images in a row one shared height. Both choices apply to every image grid on Yeja and are saved in this browser.
